With the aim to revive the forgotten boy-band era, Ace Talents is proud to present Unknown, our country’s latest addition in the ever-evolving Malaysian music scene.
Set to debut in May 2021 with their introductory single ‘Jangan Marah (Baby Sayang)’, the group consists of five talented young crooners namely – Muhammad Shazrul Affandy (Momo), 19, Izmeer Ibrahim (Izmeer), 18, Awangku Zaq Amirul (Zaq), 17, Adam Hafidh (MaryHaf), 19, and Ameer Nor Azam (Ameer), 18.
Despite being a newcomer, the boys aim to prove that they can be an all-rounder, with visible versatility through their writing and producing skills through ‘Jangan Marah (Baby Sayang) under the guidance of renowned singer-songwriter, Azan Adddin of Ruffedge.
Their journey as a group started when each member individually auditioned during a ‘talent search’ audition conducted by Ace Talents, where they were grouped together, and soon afterwards began writing songs, started vocal trainings and held dance practices.
As newbies, the group takes inspiration from all hip-hop legend, who is also a Malaysia’s music virtuoso, and fellow label mate, Ruffedge, while developing their own style.
According to Mdm. Azuien Alonto, Managing Director of Ace Talents, “I am confident that Unknown will be the next big thing in the local music scene, I personally selected each of the member because of the raw talent they posses and is the potential they have in the future, whilst evolving into becoming their own artiste.”
